My Data Directory in Sage 50 has changed. How can I update this on Satago so my data stays up to date?
If you’ve changed your Sage 50 Data Directory, you’ll need to update the Satago - Sage 50 Connector to keep your data in sync.
This guide is for customers using the Satago - Sage 50 Connector that points to the Sage Data Directory. If you use Satago within Sage 50 Connected Services, no update is needed.
How to update your Data Directory in Satago
Check your Data Directory in Sage 50
In Sage 50, go to Help > About to confirm your current Data Directory.
Update your Sage 50 Connector
Find the Sage 50 Connector in your programs tray.
Right-click the icon and select Company List.
Locate your company in the list. The Data Path field (to the right of your company name) should match your Sage 50 Data Directory.
Double-click your company name to open Company Details.
Update the Data Path as needed, then click Save.
Re-sync your data
We recommend completing a Full Re-Sync. Click the drop-down arrow next to Sync Now and select Full Re-Sync to ensure all data is up to date.
Close the pop-up window
Click the X to close the Company Details window.
If you have trouble changing the data path, you can delete the company from the list and re-add it with the new path. This won’t cause any issues in Satago or interfere with your Sage 50 data.
