FAQ - Multi-Factor Authentication

FAQ - Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your Satago account by requiring more than just a password to log in. This helps protect your account even if your password is compromised.

What is MFA?

MFA is a security process that requires users to provide two or more verification factors to access their account. In Satago, this means:

  • Something you know (your password)

  • Something you have (access to your registered email address)

How do I enable MFA for my company?

Only an Admin user can enable MFA for your organization. To do this:

  1. Go to Admin > Organisation > Users in the Satago portal.

  2. Tick the box to enable MFA and invite all users to set up multi-factor authentication.

Once enabled, MFA will apply to all users in your organization, including any new users added.

How does MFA work in Satago?

When MFA is enabled, you will:

  1. Sign in with your username and password as usual.

You will need to enter a new access code each time you log in.
