Credit Reports - What is the difference between a summary and a full report?
Satago’s Risk Insights platform gives you the tools to make confident, informed credit decisions whether you need a quick overview or a deep dive into a company’s financial health. Here’s how Credit Summaries and Full Credit Reports differ, and how you can use each to protect your business and manage risk.
Credit Summary: At-a-Glance Risk Assessment
A Credit Summary provides a concise snapshot of a business’s creditworthiness, helping you quickly assess risk before extending credit or agreeing payment terms. With unlimited access for all Satago customers, Credit Summaries are your first line of defence against potential bad debt.
What’s included in a Credit Summary?
Risk Banding (e.g., Very Low to Very High Risk)
Recommended Credit Limit
Average Days Beyond Terms (DBT)
Key payment trends and outstanding balances
How to access:
Go to Risk Insights → Credit Search, enter the company name or number, and click Search.
Select ‘View company page’ to see the Credit Summary.
Full Credit Report: In-Depth Financial Intelligence
When you need a comprehensive view of a company’s financial position and payment behaviour, a Full Credit Report delivers detailed intelligence—ideal for higher-value or higher-risk decisions.
What’s included in a Full Credit Report?
All Credit Summary data, plus:
Detailed credit score and banding
Full financial statements and payment history
Event history (e.g., CCJs, insolvencies)
Industry benchmarks and risk trends
How to access:
From the Credit Summary, click ‘View complete credit report’.
Note: Full Credit Reports count towards your annual allowance, depending on your Satago subscription.
