How to add credit notes to statements?

This FAQ explains how to include credit notes in your customer reminder and statement templates using Satago.

Where are credit notes managed in templates?

Credit notes can be displayed in your automated reminders and statements by adding a dedicated table via the template editor.

How do I add credit notes to my templates?

  1. Go to Credit Control > Group Configuration.

  2. Click on ‘Enable & review templates’ to customise your messages (reminder or statement).

  1. In the editor, go to the Snippets menu.

  1. Select and insert the Customer Open Credit Notes Table snippet into your template.

  1. Click Preview to see how the credit notes table will appear.

  2. If you are happy with the placement, click Save.

Why use the credit notes snippet?

Satago uses snippets to dynamically insert up-to-date information into your templates. The credit notes table ensures your customers see any open credit notes on their statements or reminders, helping to keep their account information clear and accurate.
