Downloading the Satago Connector on a New Sage Server / Computer

If you have moved your Sage installation to a new server, you’ll need to install the Satago connector on your new server to continue syncing your data.

How to download and install the Satago connector

  1. Log in to Satago as the admin user.

  2. Go to Admin > Organisation > Options.

  3. Click on License Key.

  1. Download the connector application installer from this page.

  1. Run the installer on your new Sage server and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note: You must be an admin user in Satago to access the connector download.



How to add your company to the connector

Follow the steps bellow to add your company once you download the connector

  1. Once downloaded, click on the ^ arrow to run the installer:

  • Click Next on the first screen.

  • Read and accept the License Agreement.

  • Paste your License key when prompted, then click ‘Next’.

  • The component to install will be selected automatically, then click 'Next'

  • Confirm the installation folder and click Next.

  • Close any conflicting programs and click Install.

  • Click Finish to run the connector.

  1. When the Company List dialogue appears, click Add Company.

  1. Select your company from the dropdown list.

  1. Enter the Sage Username (usually 'MANAGER') and Password, then click Test Connection.

  1. Once validated successfully, click 'Save'.

The data synchronisation will begin immediately and the Sync Status column will reflect the state of the synchronisation. When the status changes to Synched you can click 'Exit'. The connector will continue to automatically run every 3 hours as a background service.

  1. Return to the Satago registration flow in your web browser and click Continue.

  1. Select your company from the dropdown list (if you have multiple companies, you’ll see more than one option) and click Continue.

  1. The data import progress will be displayed. When complete, click Get Started.

You will land on your Dashboard in Satago where you can complete the set up for the features you are most interested in:

How do I access the Sage 50 Connector after installation?

You can access the Sage 50 Connector from the system tray on the machine where it was installed. Right-click the 'S' icon.

And select Company List to manage your connected companies.
