What is Credit Control? (US)
Credit Control sends routine invoice reminders for you, while you stay in control of who is chased, what they receive and when.
Credit Control automates the routine follow-up on unpaid invoices, so you don't have to write and send the same reminders every week.
What it sends

You stay in control
Who is chased: choose exactly which customers receive reminders. Start with a few, and add more when you're happy.
What they receive: edit the wording of every template. Placeholders called Snippets add each customer's name and invoice details automatically.
When it's sent: set how many days before or after the due date each reminder goes, and which days and times emails are sent.
Different customers, different approaches: put customers in groups, each with its own templates and schedule. For example, a gentler approach for long-standing customers.
Pause at any time: stop reminders for a customer or a single invoice, for example when a payment has been promised.
Nothing is sent until you switch Credit Control on.
How it works with Sage 50
Credit Control uses the invoices, due dates, payments and customer email addresses in your Sage 50 data. When a payment is allocated to an invoice in Sage 50 and synced to Satago, reminders for that invoice stop.
Important
Reminders use the data from your most recent sync. Keep your Sage 50 data synced so customers aren't chased for invoices they've already paid. See How do I connect Sage 50 and set up Satago? (US).

Emails are sent from your Satago subdomain, which you can customize with your company name. Replies from customers are forwarded to you and recorded in Satago.
Sending from your own email address, SMS reminders and payment links aren't included in your plan.
