Connecting Sage50 v29.2 or later with Satago for Sage50 Finance Package customers

Satago is designed to integrate seamlessly with Sage 50 Finance Package (version 29.2 and later), making it easy to manage your credit control and risk insights without leaving your Sage environment.

This FAQ is specifically for Sage 50 Users with an active finance package, using Sage 50 version 29.2 or later.

 

 

If you’re using Sage 50 version 29.2 or later, please follow the steps below to connect and access Satago. We recommend reading all instructions carefully to ensure a smooth setup process.

How to connect Sage 50 v29.2+ with Satago

Please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Sage 50 Accounts as Manager

    • Open Sage 50 and log in using the Manager account.

    • Head to Connected Services and select Credit Control and Risks Insights.

You can only access Satago directly through Sage 50 when you are logged in as the Manager user and use the SageID credentials associated with your Sage account. Attempting to connect with a different user or email address may result in errors or duplicate accounts.

If you cannot find Credit control and Risk insights, you can refresh the app display in Tools → Activations → Refresh Licence, you may need to log out and log in again. Click on Connected services once again when you log back in.

 

  1. Complete the setup wizard

    • A setup wizard will open. Enter the required details as prompted.

  1. Finalise the connection

    • After completing the wizard, click on Connected Services again.

    • You should now see Satago and Satago Settings as options.

    • Click on Satago. A Sage login page will appear.

    • Sign in using your SageID to complete the connection.

If you use a different email address, this may create a a duplicate account which could lead you to see a pricing page. If that happens, please contact us.

  • How do I add users? Only the Administrator can invite additional users to your Satago account. Please note: Any users you invite can only access Satago via app.satago.com and cannot access Satago directly through Sage 50.
